Most people want peace without the aloneness of [spiritual] power. And they want the self-confidence of adulthood without having to grow up.

I think that there is a sort of spiritual power that is translating into our bodies as we perform. Performers give, and giving is so important. It can heal. That is my experience, anyway.

From my perspective, I absolutely believe in a greater spiritual power, far greater than I am, from which I have derived strength in moments of sadness or fear. That's what I believe, and it was very, very strong in the forest.

Rock n' roll is closest thing I've got to a spiritual power. It's been the higher voice in my life and it's never let me down.

The great question of our time is, 'Will we be motivated by materialistic philosophy or by spiritual power?'
